Arriving from the Craignure Ferry:

• On leaving the Ferry turn right on to main Salen / Tobermory road.
• Continue through Salen, over Aros Bridge, until you see a sign showing a right hand turn to Aros Mains.
• Half a mile down you will come to the Cottages called Castle Steadings.
• If you are booked in to Cottage 3 the parking, and entrance, to it is directly opposite Aros Castle. Cottage 3 has a side door therefore you need to take the track to the right leading to Aros Castle.
• Cottage 2 is in the middle of the building therefore you should go to the door located at the front of the house and park in front of the building.
• If you have rented Aros Mains Apartment take the same track, as if going to Aros Castle. The gate to Aros Mains Apartment is just beyond Cottage 3 to your left. It is the large white house opposite Aros Castle.

Aros Mains is 12 miles from Craignure and just 2 miles out of Salen on the way to Tobermory.

Arriving from the Lochaline Ferry:

• On leaving the Ferry turn right on to main Salen / Tobermory road.

Aros Mains is 6 miles from Lochaline and just 2 miles out of Salen on the way to Tobermory.

Arriving from the Kilchoan Ferry:

• On leaving the Ferry take the main Tobermory / Salen road.
• Approximately 2 miles before Salen take the first turn on the left sign posted Aros Mains.
• Half a mile down you will come to the Cottages called Castle Steadings.
• If you are booked in to Cottage 3 the parking, and entrance, to it is directly opposite Aros Castle. Cottage 3 has a side door therefore you need to take the track to the right leading to Aros Castle.
• Cottage 2 is in the middle of the building therefore you should go to the door located at the front of the house and park in front of the building.
• If you have rented Aros Mains Apartment take the same track, as if going to Aros Castle. The gate to Aros Mains Apartment is just beyond Cottage 3 to your left. It is the large white house opposite Aros Castle.
